Minerva had tried to discern which of the adult attendees was Severus’ lady friend, but between the shrieks over the velociraptors eating a villain, the bleating of the goat, and the roars of the tyrannosaurus, it was impossible to tell who besides Severus found Jurassic Park amusing. It wasn’t her business regardless, or so she told herself the next morning, as Severus, humming a sprightly tune, took his place at the High Table.
“I can see you enjoyed yourself last night,” she said.
“Indeed,” said Severus, reaching for the fried toast. “Both the film and the company were most enjoyable.”
