Remus was still up when Severus shuffled in the front door, doing the Prophet’s crossword puzzle. “You’re back a bit late. Is everything all right?”
“Draco’s holding up better than I thought, but Astoria – “ Severus shook his head. “They’ve been watching Muggle films because she’s never quite recovered from childbirth.”
“A damned shame, that. I should talk to him.” Remus down at the kitchen table as Severus joined him. “How was the movie?”
“Spectacular but unoriginal.” Severus twitched his finger at the teapot, which obediently poured him a cup. “I think Draco would welcome the company.”
“Good to know.”
