Yaxley was one of the Sacred Twenty-Eight, but he was no match for an angry Binns. The tongue-lashing alone was enough to make a strong man weep, but couple it with threats to involve the shade of Yaxley's great-grandmother and the portrait of Walpurga Black, and it was a wonder Yaxley didn't lose control of his bodily functions. Within minutes he'd agreed to purge the Snatchers, reform the Assembly's by-laws, and drop the warding that had forced Binns into a potions vial in the first place.
“That was glorious, Cuthbert,” Severus said afterwards. “Magnificent.”
“My thanks,” said Binns.
