Note: this is yet another Motherless Child drabble series, wherein Snape and Lupin marry and adopt a young werewolf. Their son John is about 14 in this one.
John snorted into his breakfast. “Only question's why they haven't come out yet.”
Severus stared at Remus, whose eyebrows had risen practically into his hairline. “What are you talking about?”
“Oh, please.” John set down his spoon with an epic eyeroll that would have cost Ravenclaw ten points if school had been in session. “What else were Aunt Gin and Aunt Astoria supposed to do? Everyone knows Uncle Harry and Uncle Draco have been seeing each other on the sneak for the last six months.”
Severus opened his mouth, then shut it. Remus took a deep breath. “Go on.”
