Note: this is yet another Motherless Child drabble series, wherein Snape and Lupin marry and adopt a young werewolf. Their son John is about 14 in this one.
“That's a very suggestive picture.” Remus peered at the photo of Ginny, still in her Holyhead uniform, embracing a smiling Astoria. Their faces were inches apart, lips slightly parted, and Astoria at least had begun to close her eyes. “Is it altered?”
“How would I know? I'm not a photographer.” Severus clicked to the next photo (Ginny and Astoria in a sporting goods store poring over children's brooms). “This 'Flickr' site seems to be amateur snaps of Holyhead players on their off-days, though, not stock photos. See, there's one of Angharad Ifans with her husband.”
“Good point, love.”
