Severus froze. He fought down the sudden twinge of pain in his right arm and turned.
“Lucius. What an unexpected surprise. Was Lady Carrollton expecting you?”
“I'm here to collect my wife,” said the man who'd destroyed Severus' ability to use magic. He regarded Severus with genuine wonder. “You look well.”

“Totally uninterested in being a sales executive, which was my other Muggle career choice.”
