Severus sat up, blinking. The room was quiet except for the soft scuttle of the salamander on the hearth and the even softer breathing from the other half of the bed. Why was he dreaming of Evan Rosier? His first lover, yet another casualty of war, had been well off but scarcely rich? What was going on?
