The queue to get into Flourish & Blotts overflowed the sidewalk into Diagon Alley, blocking traffic on the street and very likely preventing hungry shoppers from visiting the newly reopened Fortescue's Eating Emporium. Severus scowled – his new copy of Most Potente Potions, personally signed by the author, was waiting for him – and tried to elbow his way past the crowd.
“Oi, who do you think you are?” said a muscular woman who looked like a beater for Holyhead. “Wait your turn!”
“My turn for what?” said Severus.
“The new edition of Reversing Death!” she snapped.
