“The book was a gift from Albus Dumbledore,” Severus interrupted. He shifted in place as one of his offspring aimed a kick at his pancreas. “He said that knowledge was power, especially after Pettigrew resurrected the Dark Lord, and wanted me to be in a position to counter the next use of necromancy.”
“And you find this entertaining?”
“More 'fascinating,' actually.”
