“Fifi LaFolle?” Poppy, who had come over to check on Severus after he flatly refused to go out in public, cocked an eyebrow at the stack of Enchanted Encounters paperbacks on the coffee table. “Good heavens, I haven't read these in years! Wherever did you get them?”
Severus glared, but waited until she'd cast a diagnostic spell to speak. “They were a gift from an alleged friend. She seemed to think I'd enjoy them, God knows why.”
“They're silly fun,” said Poppy. “Surely you've confiscated some from your students.”
“That's how I know I wouldn't like them!”
