He himself had been asked to referee, and it had been gratifying to be cheered instead of booed when he shook hands with Harry Potter.
“I hadn't realized you were involved,” he said after an awkward pause. “Nor was I aware that Draco was representing his family. I was under the impression Narcissa was the charitable one.”
