...confirmed what appeared to be a figure looming at the end of the corridor. Other attendees at the disastrous open house reported cold spots, particularly in what had been the Riddle family dining room, strange moaning sounds in the chapel, and a large snake that spoke in threatening tones....
“I'm not surprised it's haunted,” said Severus. He shook his head at a paragraph from “Jack Quarters, millionaire developer” claiming that he'd never seen a single thing out of place at Riddle House. “The house has a worse aura than the Gaunt Cottage.”
