Challenge: Holyhead

Note: this is yet another snippet from the Motherless Child series, where Snape and Lupin marry and adopt a young werewolf. Their son, John, is about ten.
Holyhead itself was pleasant enough, especially when the breeze was blowing toward the industrial quarter instead of from it. There was enough history to satisfy Severus, enough local lore to mesmerize John, and a well-stocked W.H. Smith to keep Remus occupied.
Their hotel was equally acceptable, clean and whitewashed and staffed with employees who didn't bat an eyelash at a same-sex couple with a child. Overall, their holiday seemed off to a fair start.
Then it was time to meet Potter and presumably a Weasley or two, and that was when the pleasant family holiday took a distinctly unexpected turn.
