“For pity's sake, why?” Severus stared at the letter from the National Wizarding Trust. “Just because I helped with Dumbledore House doesn't mean I'm an expert on historic properties!”
“Perhaps they couldn't get anyone else.” Remus Lupin, even more subdued than usual after the divorce, cleared his throat. “It's not as if there are any Gaunts left to clean the place out.”
“Burn it to the ground would be better.” Severus rolled his eyes – why had Minerva rehired the man? Was he that hard up for cash? “Even the Weasleys would have trouble with this one.”
