After Severus and Da came back to the camp they all had tea. Mummy and Da talked and smiled and laughed instead of yelling at each other, and Severus was almost sure they held hands under the picnic table. He made a face – Mummy had told him not to hold hands with Lily in public, why was that different? - and pulled out a book so he wouldn't have to watch.
Later, after supper, the three of them sat outside their tent and watched the stars come out, one by one. Maybe Muggle camping wasn't so bad after all.
