Severus finished his tea and stared into the fire. Remus murmured an enlargement charm on the chair and eased himself in beside Severus. “Probably best if you do. We both know keeping secrets always backfires.”
Severus let out a sigh. Damn him, why did he always have to be right? “That carol. Igor sang it while he tortured Muggles. Perverted bastard.”
Remus' arms tightened about him. “Being nice to him during the Triwizard must have been - “
“Hell. Sheer hell.” Severus relaxed enough to turn in place. “Don't tell the priest. The music is lovely.”
“Of course.”
