“Will restore my family's honor.” Draco clenched his left fist. The Dark Mark was the faintest shadow under his skin. “I can't give up, sir. I can't.”

“I didn't say that,” Severus replied. “I said you needed to take all factors into account. That includes Potter.”

Draco nodded. “Then teach me what I need to know.”

Severus bowed his head. The Unbreakable Vow rumbled in the back of his mind. “Of course.”
