“I told you this was the best place to contact me.” Severus watched as the Headmaster gaped at the dower house.
“You live here?”
“For all intents and purposes,” said Severus. The trap-and-distract spell had been difficult, and Muggle tourists were a bother, but setting his Floo to forward automatically to the National Trust property whilst notifying him was clearly worth it. “May I offer you a raspberry ice?”
“I'd be delighted,” murmured Dumbledore, and Severus smirked behind his hand.
