Dear Headmaster:
Given my position at the school, and in certain outside activities that you have requested I continue, it is imperative that my location during the summer remain private. Wizards are less than inclined to deal with the Royal Mail, which is why I have rented a postal box in a convenient location for all but the most urgent correspondence.
The Stoat & Eft is the nearest wizarding pub. The owner is a fellow Slytherin whom I trust without question to forward any and all messages to me. That should be more than sufficient.
