“It's a safe job, sir.” Miss Argerich's fingers worried at a loose thread on her jumper. “Besides, the Ravenclaws always get the good library - “
“Are you not ambitious?” Severus interrupted.
She closed her eyes and nodded.
“Then apply where you wish. Intelligence is worthless without discipline and a solid plan.”
