“Remarkable.” Horace held up a neatly coiled piece of parchment. “I had no idea he was capable of this.”
“Capable of what?” Albus set his current pair of socks (bright blue) to auto-knit and leaned over the Potions Master's shoulder. “My goodness, these equations are quite complex. Who did this?”
“One of my first-years, Mr. Snape.” Horace unrolled the parchment to its full length. “It's an analysis of the arithmancy in the Polyjuice Potion. I wonder where he learned the math?”
Filius broke into a grin behind his newspaper. Maybe now Horace would take the boy seriously.
