“Thank you for agreeing to assist us,” Severus said. He poured a glass of port and waited as the Baron carefully let his ectoplasm surround the liquor long enough for him to savor its essence. He could not drink, of course, but that did not prevent him from enjoying the good things in life. “Peeves is truly out of control.”
The Baron sighed. “Heads of House should be respected, not abused.”
Severus placed a dish of chocolate mousse next to the port. “So I was told when I took the position.”
The Baron smiled slightly. “So it should be.”
