The Remembrall was spelled to remind Severus of his appointments, dosing schedule for the medications he needed to deal with the residual poison, and whether it was time to eat. He hated it on sight, but even if he’d been strong enough to destroy it Poppy had shown him a dozen stored neatly on a rack in her office.
So he did as he was told, took his pills and tinctures, and did his best to ignore the Remembrall that ended up in his pocket no matter what. Someday it would be gone and he would be free to forget…
