"Mr. Snape?" The tour guide was young, perky, and wore Bermuda shorts and a crisply starched shirt. "We're leaving for a walking tour of Wallblake House. It's the only surviving plantation house on the island."

"How nice." Severus carefully marked the place in his book. "I am busy, as you can see."

The guide laughed, showing surprisingly even, surprisingly white teeth. "You've been reading the same book all week. Put it down and see the sights! Why else are you here?"

Convalescing from a giant snake trying to eat me was not a good answer. "I have my reasons."
