Severus scowled and sprinkled the potion on the altar of St. Mungo. It would assist the MLE in finding the reliquary before the Prophet got wind of the scandal, and reinforce the protective spells on the wretched thing when it was back where it belonged.
Of course Albus had made him do it by himself even though he was a Christian, and of course -
