"You wanted to see me?" Severus waited before taking his seat. This past year had been nerve wracking as the Board of Governors monitored him before deciding whether to restore him to full faculty status.
Minerva smiled as she handed him a creamy envelope. "Congratulations, Deputy Headmaster."
"Deputy - " Severus read the note over and over. "Full tenure? Head of Slytherin?"
"Yes." Minerva hesitated, then produced a second envelope. "The one negative was your clothing."
"Clothing? I could barely eat, let alone - "
Minerva raised her hand. "That's why I'm giving you a gift certificate to Madam Malkin's."
