Neither spoke as the shadows lengthened and dusk began to fall. Lupin finally stirred. “I don't know about you, but I'm feeling peckish. Want a bite?”
Severus stared – was Lupin trying to flirt with him?- then realized he was talking about sustenance, not passion. “A meal would be welcome, as long as you don't change into a wolf and catch squirrels in Kensington Gardens.”
“Not a chance of that for another week.” Lupin sighed. “Any ideas? You know London better than I do.”
Severus thought of the Muggle. “There's an Indian place near Covent Garden.”
