"Can't you take all the blood you need at one time instead of pricking and sticking us over and over again?" Pansy whinged. "Doing it without magic is barbaric." Or Muggle, which was worse. Not to mention that the needles and things they were using looked suspiciously Muggle with the uniform lettering, monotonous shapes, and boring packaging.
"Are you sure this is safe? It doesn't look very sanitary to me." There were charms for this sort of thing for a reason. Sticking needles in her arm seemed rather extreme. "I'm still bruised from the last time." At least she could trade arms. Poor Draco refused to bare his left arm, so all his blood was coming from his right. They both looked as if they'd done battle, yet these vampires still weren't satisfied that they had enough.
"We need to make sure the magic from the charms isn't interfering with the results, Mrs Malfoy," the short, squat vampire disguised as a medi-witch told her in an overly cheery voice that put Pansy on edge.
