Stop it! I didn’t know and I got excited and now I’m blushing and I’m at work! Oh man, I feel ridiculous.
Okay, Hunter- Hunter is from LA, he grew up there with lots of money, and went to university in San Francisco, though he wasn’t exactly following his dream. He’d met a guy when he was seventeen, someone considerably older than him, who had a pretty good hold over all of the decisions Hunter made, including college. Hunter lived with him whilst he was studying, so he was contantly being controlled, but he was in love. He thought it was love. It was an abusive relationship, physically, verbally, mentally, and Hunter would probably not have left, but his family dragged him home the day he graduated and he wasn’t allowed to go back. Which made things pretty problematic, because Hunter wanted to, he didn’t know how to be his own person, and it was a pretty long road to him being reasonably okay again.
He stayed living with his parents, worked for both of them for a few years, but he didn’t and has never dated again. He finds it difficult to trust anyone, so he pays for company, he can play at relationships for a little while and then move on.
He moved to Vegas a couple of months ago assuming it would be a good clean break, get out of California, get a job, start over. He’s unemployed right now, but his parents are rich and generous, so he can keep paying for company when he wants it. I’m running through a few things I want him to do for a job right now. He’s pretty low maintainence, generous with his money if anyone needs anything, and he’s a pretty considerate client. A bit antsy at opening up to people, wary of attention he hasn’t paid for, but he’s a good boy and I love writing him.
