I'm debating bringing a character in and had three loose ideas, so I thought I would throw them out to see who might want them for what.
1) David Corenswet as a snake at the ranch. Turned to being a snake during grad school to help pay off his debts and hasn't looked back yet. Unashamedly enjoys the money and the men and the work. He figures some day, he'll go back to what he went to school for - TBD - but for now, while he's young, he's in for the fun. For him, he could use a roommate, fwb, flings, whatever. He's a relatively light and airy character for the time being.
2) Sebastian Stan as a well-known artist who is relatively recently divorced after he came out to his wife as having an interest in men, too. So he moved clear across the country to get away from everything and everyone he knows and to figure out what he likes when it comes to men. That's where the ranch comes in. It's safe, regulated, professional and he knows he can remain anonymous, not that most people would recognize him unless they were deep into the art world. He's much more complex, conflicting emotions about missing his wife and his life and thrilled with getting a chance to explore a side he's suppressed for so long. Would love to set him up with bookings for snakes to explore that side of him or even a small handful of fwb/fling/hookup things to let him learn. Maybe even someone he tried to date, but felt so uncomfortable doing right off the bat.
3) Sean O'Pry as either a long-term snake OR an engaged man with a serious secret who uses the ranch to find happiness despite a seemingly picture-perfect life (or, hell, even a combination of the two, he tells her he works third shift and she's none the wiser?). If just a client, he'll be in the midst of a long-term engagement with his college sweetheart, they said they'd wait until she was done with all her schooling to become a doctor for them to officially plan a wedding and get married. As they edge closer to the date of her completion and wedding planning looms closer, he's more reliant on it. He could use the standard friends and whatnot and those he's booked or even gone home with as far as other clients go. Maybe a best friend who knows everything, who maybe told him about the ranch a few years ago.
Long way of saying, these are very loose ideas and I'm wondering who would want any of them around and what might you have in mind for them, if you had anything! Thanks for helping me make up my conflicted mind!
