Thank you so much! Yeah, I work hard on trying to get them to look like they would in that particular time of their lives. It's difficult sometimes, you know. I have such a strong idea of what their lives are like right now, and when I think about what other people do, I can't help but question myself.
But then, my own views come through. Honestly, I look at the people around me who are in the same age group, and going through similar situations.
Snape would be healthier because he isn't under the influence of Voldemort. He would have cleaned himself up grooming-wise for the sake of his daughter. I think a lot of things have changed in his personality due to Alstromeria's influence. And that's actually something I've been tossing around in my mind. He might have a hard time dealing with Harry at first because he's trying to balance the man he is now with the man he used to be.
It's difficult to admit that you've been wrong in the past, just as it's difficult to show people you've made compromises in your life for the sake of someone else.
And I don't think he understands Harry's love. I honestly don't think he has any idea how much potential for forgiveness Harry has.
Although, now, it might not be as difficult as it was before. Because in this universe, Harry is older than James was when he died. So Snape no longer has a basis for comparison.
