25 days of Draco and Harry


I will post a picture a day from December 1st - December 24th (with a bonus picture on the 25th).

The challenge is to write a drabble, ficlet, story, whatever for each of the pics. They can be separate or each one can be a part of a bigger story. If you write for each of the 24 prompts (last one is a bonus and does not count) - you will be entered in a drawing for a prize (assuming more than one person completes the challenge).

Each picture will be made available at Midnight est time. If you have any questions or concerns - feel free to contact me.

Back for another fun filled year. The poll was informative and helpful. Most people seem to like the way things are - so for now it will go as follows:

prompts will be posted every other week (Wed)

tagging game will post/tag on Mondays - weekly

special prompts will be done for holidays/birthdays and in addition to the bi-weekly ones

every tenth prompt will no longer be a remix - instead remixes will be put into the rotation of prompts



Now...we are coming up on our 100th prompt. I'd like to make it special. I'll be accepting ideas by Private Message only. If you post it here - it will not be considered.

And finally Challenge #97 - is new beginnings

This challenge will run until January 21st.

I come bearing a special Holiday Challenge.

For the month of December, all prompts can be found my clicking this link:

December Challenge Prompts

Your challenge is to write for each picture. You can combine the pictures for your fic, but it will only count for one entry. At the end, I will tally who wrote the most fics and prizes will be awarded. *grin*

Additional rules: Words do not need to be used in order, unless you are competing for a prize. You may post up to two prompts per day. If you are going out of town, email me. I'm willing to help out. Posts must be a minimum of 100 words - but there is no maximum.

Yes, you may combine this with other communities prompts - I plan to combine some of mine with the ones over at [info]adventdrabbles, where they are running a similiar competition. You can then complete challenges for two communities this month! *grins*

There will also be a contest that will run from December 31st thru January 7th. That challenge is to write one fic incorporating all 31 pictures!

NOTE: your fic does not have to be a story of the picture - you can use a part of the picture or what ever that picture says to you. Any questions - just ask!

Welcome to Double Entendre Fun. Now we have posts and tags on Monday AND Friday! This way we will all get to play a bit more often, plus the delightful advantage of a new fic every Monday and another one to take us into the weekend on Friday!

Now, please pay attention to who is tagged on each of these days, so that one person does not have to write for for Monday and Friday. I will be monitoring this and will let you know if you need to tag someone else.

I just back-tagged the last 245767846751324 entries (all posted within the last two weeks, baw!) and I almost went stir crazy with the wrong tags that snuck in over the course of two years.

So, does anyone know whether it's possible to delete wrong tags (mod talk instead of mod-talk, and so on) from the tag list and if yes, how?

EDIT All shiny and fixed now. And because [info]sassy_cissa has a bad day, I demand that you all pet her. I'll ban you if you don't. And don't think I won't. I will. It's in my power. I'm the uber mod. Yes, I am. *strokes ego*

After the publication of the book until 31st October, 2007, all spoilers for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows must be under an lj-cut. Although we don't really chat around here, please watch what you say and how you say it. If your fic is based on Deathly Hallows it must be under a cut and proper warning applied. Please don't be the one responsible for ruining things for others.

Also, watch how you word your warnings.

Correct warning: contains spoilers for Deathly Hallows

Incorrect warning: angst, death (Ginny just like in the book) <--- okay far fetched, but you get the idea.

Finally, be aware of the icons you use. Even those can tip off people to things that occurred in the book.

The best news ever: I'm done. Thirteen years of school over and done with, last exam written yesterday, never setting foot into that seventies-brick-shit-building again, free to enjoy my youth and sleep all freaking day should I so choose.

Isn't the world a wonderful place? Gawd, that's a good feeling.

*coughs a bit* Alright, now that that's out of the way, this is me stating that I'm back. [info]sassy_cissa has done a wonderful job in my absence, getting this community back into the swing of things after I neglected it just a tiny bit. For that she deserves a big fat round of applause and everyone's eternal gratitude.

We've agreed that from now on, we'll both play mod, so you get double the mod-y goodness. How exactly we're going to make that work isn't quite clear yet but work with me here because, believe me, graduation is way better than any drug and logic doesn't faze me at the moment.

Due to several different tiny glitches (RL issues - mod brain snap, etc)...there was no fic posted on the 25th. Rather than posting mid-week and not giving the next tagee time to prepare a fic, we will pick up Double Entendre Fun - Friday this week and [info]jean_c_pepper will post and tag on June 1st.
