Author's note: Written for challenge #20 for slythindor100, in which we were to take someone else's drabble and 'remix' it. I chose Yesterday, by ginnyatheart. Please read that drabble first, as it's wonderfully funny and also explains mine.
Summary: After some drunken rough housing the night before, Harry and Draco need a new bed.
After spending the night in the guest room, due to the fact that they had managed to break their own bed with their antics, Harry dragged Draco out at the crack of noon to shop for a new bed.
Harry had never been so grateful for hangover potions in his life.
They were currently in the fourth store of the day, but things were looking up. They had finally found a bed they both agreed on. It was a massive, king-sized four-poster with an intricately wrought headboard. Harry was enamored of the beautifully patterned white oak, and Draco was thrilled with the built-in bookshelves.
"Shall we buy it, then?" asked Draco, looking about for the sales lady who had discreetly left them to make their decision. He was standing beside the bed in question, while Harry was a few paces away, appraising the bed from that distance.
Harry made a great show of stroking his chin and taking the matter into serious consideration. Finally, he said, "I agree we should take it, but only if it can stand up to the drunk!Draco test."
"Drunk...Draco...test?" frowned his lover, unsure of what Harry meant.
Without warning, Harry launched himself at Draco, tackling him to the bed, which cracked ominously before collapsing under the force of their combined weights slamming into it.
Looking down at Draco's comically surprised face, Harry sighed and said, "It appears we have some more shopping to do!"
