"I love to ice skate," Harry said as he and Draco glided around the rink. "I can't wait to bring Teddy this weekend."
Draco smiled, pleased that he and Harry were able to spend time with Teddy and give his aunt a break from the energetic five-year old.
They circled the rink until Harry tried to dodge a small child and ended up falling on his arse.
"You'd best take care where you land, Potter," Draco said with a laugh. "I have plans for that arse later."
As Draco pulled him to his feet, Harry whispered, "I'm counting on it."
Harry slowly opened his eyes, smiling at the blond head nestled on his chest. He loved waking up before Draco and spending time savouring the quiet of the house. He loved to listen to Draco's steady breathing, waiting for the tiny shift in its cadence that told Harry he was beginning to wake.
Even after five years together, Harry never tired of their morning routine. Generally, they'd slowly wake and then cuddle together, feet entwined, while they discussed their plans for the day. Some days a shag was the first order of the morning, but Harry still loved their quiet moments the best. The times when a touch said I love you and a caress answered forever.
Teddy burst through the door, a clear bag filled with brightly wrapped candies clutched tightly in his small fist. "These are for you," he shouted, thrusting the bag at Harry and Draco.
Andromeda followed behind, admonishing Teddy on his poor manners.
Teddy's hair dulled for a moment and then he smiled. "These are for you, Uncle Harry and Uncle Draco," Teddy beamed. "Grandmama said I should bring you candy kisses cuz you both love it so much. I don't like kisses, 'specially from girls. They have couties."
Draco raised one expressive brow. "I agree with you completely, Teddy," he said smoothly. "Girls are disease ridden creatures to be avoided at all cost." He angled his head towards his Aunt. "Present company excluded."
"Understood," Andromeda replied with a smile. "I'll be back for him Sunday night. Please attempt not to corrupt his vivid imagination any further."
Draco nodded. "I'll try, but you know what a heathen that Potter fellow is. I was a perfect angel before I met with the likes of him."
Andromeda's laughter could be heard after she closed the door to leave.
"My arse," Harry muttered.
"I'm sure that can be arranged," Draco smirked.
