Special Valentines Challenge
And I can't believe I'm doing this – but I have selected some quotes about love. Some of them beg for fluff – while others beg for angst. PLEASE warn for angst in the header. I can read it (if you kill either of them I may not – lol) but I need to know.
You do not need to use the entire quote – unless you want to. You can use part of the longer ones or use the general idea of it. Thanks.
This challenge will last until Feb 15th – when I will issue a drabble challenge for 1 week.
The prompts:
1)

Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident. Your mother and I had it, we had roots that grew towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossoms had fallen from our branches we found that we were one tree and not two."
