How about we do something alittle different...?


Ok, QUIDDITCH drabbles... using any character but the 'obvious' ones.

The 'obvious ones' are (to me, at least)
Harry, Draco, Ron, Ginny, the Twins, Draco, Cedric, Cho.

In keeping with the Slythindor feel of the comm, tho, let's try and make the pairings between Slytherin and Gryffindor. So, any pairing or character that are -- or have been -- Quidditch players and Slytherin or Gryffindor will do, including the brief appearance of Dean Thomas or Charlie Weasley or James Potter, even. (Wasn't Sirius a Quidditch player, too? I can't remember). Paucey and Flint.

Maybe Marcus/Oliver?

If you need it, you can use either Lexicon or Wikipedia to get your list of Quidditch players. Both are excellent resources but, surprisingly, the Wikipedia one seems to be more in-depth.

And, because this is rather unusual challenge (at least I think it is for this comm), to get you all into, they'll actually be a prize for best/favourite drabble. After all of the stories are posted (we'll give it until next Saturday), we'll put it to a vote.

Prize: Winner will get 1-month paid subscription. I did this for hpdrabble_dares but I only got three submissions (including mine, which wasn't up for vote). So, hopefully we can get more this time. If the user is already a paid subscriber, then they can choose between either the paid subscription gift (which will add 2 months to your subscription) or can get the userpic add-on, which will let you upload 100 userpics instead of the normal 6 (I think it's 6, for free accounts) for 6 months.
