Summary: A short walk leads to a long kiss.
It was a short walk from their small flat to the ice cream shop a few blocks away, but when Harry and Draco had finished their treats, the return trip took longer than expected.
Heedless of the darkening sky, Draco had pushed Harry up against the side of the nearest building, claiming he wanted to taste the mocha fudge ice cream his boyfriend had raved about. What began as a teasing kiss had turned into a full-blown snog session right there on the pavement. Harry had tried to protest at first, but he was now an active participant, opening his mouth fully under the onslaught of Draco's seeking tongue.
Not even a sudden gust of wind nor the rumble of thunder overhead could persuade them to part. It wasn't until the first raindrops began to fall that Draco lifted his head to scowl at the sky. A few tentative raindrops soon became a deluge, and Harry gave a whoop of laughter and turned to run for the safety of their flat, hoping to escape the elements.
Draco caught up to Harry less than half a block from his goal and whirled him into another heated press of lips. When Harry broke free, he cried, "Draco, we're getting drenched!"
"So?" demanded the blond, pausing to lick cool moisture from his boyfriend's neck. "We're not going to get any wetter."
"Not...not on the outside, we're not," gasped Harry, arching into the caresses.
Draco's head snapped up, and he took in the appearance of his flushed and panting boyfriend. The implication of getting wet on the inside wasn't lost on him, and suddenly, Draco couldn't wait to get back to their flat. Grabbing Harry's hand, he bolted for their building. "Come on," he urged. "Let's get out of the rain and into bed!"
