Draco watched the oven timer anxiously. His chocolate souffle was nearly ready to come out, and the timing had to be exact.
This was his fifth attempt in the past two days to create the perfect souffle. The first four had been, well, flops. He had chosen this weekend to experiment with his new recipe, as Harry had gone to visit Ron and Hermione for a couple days. Draco didn't trust Harry not to ruin his delicate dessert, either by clomping across the floor or by dropping something.
Draco had started out with a basic recipe for chocolate souffle, then put his Potions training to good use by making adjustments until he had it just right.
The timer went off, and Draco grabbed a pair of hot pads, one silver and one green, and opened the oven door. His souffle rested on the center rack. Draco removed it from the oven with excruciating care and set it delicately on top of the stove.
The delectable, decadent aroma of chocolate wafted through the kitchen, making his mouth water. He stepped back to admire his creation. The souffle stood proudly in its pan, nary a dent in its center. It was tantalizingly beautiful, and Draco beamed in pride. His souffle was perfection.

Harry had apparated into the front yard of the home he shared with Draco. He jogged up the walk, eager to lay his eyes, his hands, and various other parts of his body on his gorgeous boyfriend again.
Harry flung the front door open with a resounding bang and hollered, "Draco! I'm home!"
He was greeted by a shriek from the kitchen. Rushing into the room, he saw Draco slumped against the sink, both hands fisted in his hair and a stricken expression on his face.
Gathering his boyfriend against him, he crooned, "Baby, what's wrong? Why are you crying?"
His glasses went flying as Draco drew back and punched him in the side of the face.
