Severus watched the girl break into helpless giggles. He remembered her as a student. She was one of those who meant well yet was not very bright. He shook his head.
"You are better off taking up the argument with my ex's mother. Molly Prewett has not liked me from the moment I married her son. Her antipathy increased with the messy divorce. Don't worry. Her brother will send me something decent in a moment." He watched the discussion going on behind the bar.
Gideon brought over a bowl of stew and an apology for his sister's childish behavior, proving Severus' prediction to be correct.
"Maybe I should be teaching Divinations instead of Potions," he teased.
