Really itching for something sweet and fun between two middle-aged guys. I'm down for SIL or sci-fi or supernatural kind of stuff. A guy returns to his small town and reconnects with his old friend or one of his siblings friends who he always had a crush on (or vice versa). Maybe he doesn't realize he's gay just yet, but the more time he spends with the other the more realizes there's something there. Sci-fi could be a guy catches a ride with some ragtag crew and feels a draw to the captain. Perhaps he's rescued by the crew and one of the members seems to have taken on the role of nurse for him. I'm open to other ideas and brainstorming, so feel free to throw some ideas at me!
