Lavender really didn't want to be skeptical of Seamus. She wanted so desperately for them to just figure out a way to make the two of them work; just figure things out and make it work. She was so exhausted with the back and forth and uncertainties. Perhaps that desperation was what made it so easy for her to forgive and forget every time. Well, maybe not forget as she was really good at bringing everything back up when they were fighting.
She didn't want to fight right now, though. She abandoned the bottle of wine and moved toward him after a small hesitation and sat down with him, curling easily into his lap. "I'm sorry, too," she said quietly. Wrapping her arms around his neck, she buried her face against his neck. Merlin, she really wanted this to be more than wine.
