Lavender's features softened slightly. He'd been thinking about her? She nodded, "Sure, yeah. I've got the night off, so.." Trailing off, she glanced toward the table where he had set the flowers and wine and moved to pick up the flowers. "I'll put these in some water," she offered, giving him a small, but still wary, smile. She knew he must have made some kind of sacrifice to get that wine; she couldn't, in good conscience, turn him away right now, could she? Euan and Vati probably would have told her differently, maybe.
She took the bottle of wine, too, and lead the way into the kitchen before setting the bottle of wine down and fussing with a vase to get the flowers into some water. Grabbing two stemless wine glasses from the cabinet, she set them on the counter next to the bottle and hesitated, looking back up at Seamus. "Is this just a glass of wine, Seamus? Are you going to stop thinking about me again after this bottle is gone?" Blunt, yes, but Lavender was so exhausted from being confused as to what this was. It was probably a lot better to ask before the bottle was gone and this all got even more complicated in the morning.
