Who: Malcolm & Pansy
What: Lunch
When: Thursday afternoon
Where: Diagon Alley
Warnings: Unlikely
Thursday had rolled around sooner than expected. Malcolm had been elbow-deep in paperwork from the DMLE, trying to make sense of it all for a story. But Pansy had promised him a hot tip on a raid, and he couldn't turn that down. He couldn't afford to turn that down. Plus, it meant an afternoon with Pansy and that was a no-brainer. He'd been a bit discouraged after dinner last month, but her owl had come as a pleasant surprise. Maybe it meant she didn't completely abhor his presence, but she was hard to read.
So at noon he'd ducked out of the office, taking time to walk the few minutes to the Ministry. March was upon them and it felt a bit warmer - or maybe that was just his wishful thinking making him feel warmer. Before long, he was standing in a payphone at the visitor's entrance to the Ministry, punching in numbers and suddenly expelled on its floors. Though Malcolm was used to it, the sight of the grand hall always awed him.
He wasn't sure where Pansy's office was - and most people knew well enough not to let him wander around - so he opted to wait by the fountain. He wouldn't miss her if she was leaving.
