Who: Jill Sloper & Roger Davies
What: A casual visit
Where: Roger's flat in Cornwall Gardens, London
When: Tonight
Warnings/Rating: TBA/Probably high
There were plenty of reasons not to invite Sloper over. Roger didn't have any real reservations about sleeping with his coworkers; he'd done it before, and it hadn't done anything but make his assignments a little more exciting (or occasionally tense). And she was definitely worth some tension, even if he couldn't talk to her about anything without wanting to roll his eyes straight out of his head. He'd thought about it more than he probably should have, since they'd come back to England, mostly because she really, really wasn't the sort he usually wasted a second glance on.
But it was ridiculous to overthink these things. She was ostensibly on her way to his flat, and he probably wouldn't have to endure much conversation before they both shut up and got down to business.
Not before he finished his cigar, though. He leaned against the railing of his balcony, staring into the darkened courtyard behind the row of houses and resting his half-empty glass at his elbow. He'd left the door open, but up a notification charm. She could find her own way through the apartment.
