Who: Cho, Open to ANYONEE What: Being anti-social in a social environment. When: 18th December, early evening. Where: Leaky Cauldron. Status: In progressss maybe.
Cho was blessed with a special brand of self-awareness.
On the one hand, she cared what people thought. This concern was enough that she carried herself with a certain level of attention nearly always: hair brushed neatly, artfully mussed; clothing chosen carefully to look "unchosen"; demeanor focused yet approachable, friendly.
On the other hand, she didn't care what anyone thought. She didn't care enough that on this particular Sunday evening, she was drinking alone at the Leaky, a half-empty pint in front of the sketchbook she'd brought along. She wasn't even all that good at sketching, either -- but that's what she was doing. Sketching. Sketching and drinking alone. Watch out, we've got a badass over here.
Life and thinking about life was exhausting lately, which was why in the past couple of days Cho had resolved not to think very carefully about anything. It was clear now, considering things, that this was a mildly dangerous and/or embarrassing way to go about things. Unfortunately, it seemed that Cho didn't care very much about that either.
