Euan grinned widely and nodded. "I know, I know," he said, leaning back a bit in the chair. "Unexpected good luck. Here I am without a date. The perfect opportunity for you."
He imagined she saw this encounter as anything but an opportunity. But since she'd dismissed him so forcefully the first time they met, he figured he had nothing to lose. Maybe she'd even find him funny - though he doubted that.
