Well... Nate was glad that was over. Both their argument and the fact that Nate just had to talk a whole lot about his feelings. Sure, he was going to try to be more honest from now on, but that didn't make it any easier.
"Oi!" Nate said in response to the punch, and rubbed at his shoulder even though it hadn't hurt at all. "Okay, okay. I'll still come," he relented. Although, that didn't mean Nate wasn't still incredibly nervous. It was obvious to him that Garan really cared about his family, and Nate wanted to make sure he made a good impression. How bad would it be if his parents didn't like him?
Nate looked down and laced his fingers with Garan's. "And," He paused to take another deep breath. "It doesn't bother me that you think of me as your boyfriend. At all, really. I probably wouldn't have made that slip if I didn't do the same thing," he said, and shrugged in an attempt to play at nonchalance. In all actuality, it was a big deal to Nate that he had just admitted that.
