At dinner, Michael had only stopped into the Great Hall to nick a few rolls before wolfing them down on his way to the library. Like hell if he'd be caught by Pomfrey smuggling food on her territory... The rest of his time had been devoted into poring over books of defensive magic, just as it had been for the past few days. He had waited with a rising sort of anxiety as he counted down the minutes, not wanting to look suspicious showing up directly after dinner with a gaggle of other DA supporters.
Once in the Room of Requirement, he nodded at Anthony and Kevin before scanning the room to see who else had arrived. Luna... Padma... He gave her a smile despite the serious expression on her face. Or perhaps because of it.
"'Lo," he offered to Harry. It could've been warmer but he had a feeling that a handful of Gryffindors weren't going to be pleased to see him at the meeting in the first place.
Catching sight of Ginny, he immediately decided to sit beside her. It made sense somehow to be near each other if they were going to be finally proposing their ideas in person, if not to have the person backing him up sitting across the room instead.
