River's flirtations weren't ignored. No, the Doctor was oblivious to anything but the obvious, especially in this form. She'd said it herself: she was socially awkward. So it wasn't until River literally met her eye that she realized something was strange. This body? Oh. Oh.. Her face went a bit red and she cleared her throat, but she was smiling at least. Still awkward and painfully shy, definitely not as debonaire as she was as her previous form. Was that the word for it?
A handhold the Doctor could do. She was staring up, grinning when River approached and slipped her hand in her's and the Doctor squeezed and smiled. "When am I not? Don't answer that."
They made their way tot he building, tugging River along to the lift that would take them to Yaz's flat. A knock on the door and the girl who answered looked almost bored, though she did seem to stare at River a moment, eyes moving to their hands, the Doctor smiling like a fool.
"Yaz!" The girl called over her shoulder. "Your weird friend is here!"
Yaz's sister stepped out of the way and the famous Yaz came over, grinning, ready to be off and then just staring at the new woman next to the Doctor.
"Hello! Ready to go? This is River, by the way. You should call Ryan and Graham!"
