"Just lucky, I guess." There was an impish grin when she answered River about trouble, a twinkle in her eye as she seemed more excited at the prospect of 'trouble' than she should. She never liked seeing people hurt, of course, but there was certainly something exciting about solving problems, wasn't there?
Course it was easier when she had her TARDIS.
"I didn't lose it. Again. Uh..." There was a bit of staring around when River pointed out the vortex on her wrist. "Never did like those things."
The ground shook again and behind her, the Tardis began to fade in and out- though not like it was doing it of its own free-will. The familiar sound of her breaks was silent, and the Doctor hadn't noticed it at first, staring up at the fake-sky and thinking. Abandoned planet. Constructed atmosphere. Strange weather and geological patterns. What was she missing?
